Gravestones

The Gravestones mod introduces special blocks into the game that securely store all your items after character death. Instead of items scattering across the ground, they remain safely stored in the gravestone until you return.
This mod offers the classic grave mechanic but with improved textures in the vanilla Minecraft style, numerous settings for adaptation to different servers, and the ability to use gravestones in construction.
Destruction System
The wear and tear process of gravestones is fully customizable - any function can be disabled or modified according to your preference!
By default, gravestones gradually deteriorate over time and after each subsequent player death. Visually, this is represented by changes in the block's texture - cracks and moss appear.

After passing through three stages of destruction, the gravestone completely breaks down, throwing all its contents onto the ground (after which the standard 5-minute item despawn timer begins).
Decorative Gravestones
The mod also includes craftable "decorative gravestones" that allow builders to use these blocks in their projects without risk of damage. You can write text on them and dye them different colors, just like signs.

Settings
Here are the main parameters that can be configured in the mod:
- Whether gravestones break down after repeated player deaths
- Whether natural aging of stones occurs over time and how long it lasts
- Whether gravestones store experience, how much exactly, and whether it decreases during destruction
- Whether other players can open someone else's gravestones
- What time format is displayed on gravestones (client setting)
- And much more!
Compatibility
Currently, Gravestones has built-in support for Trinkets, Accessories mods, several mods with Soulbound enchantment, and recovery compass changes from Spelunkery. Compatibility with other mods is planned for the future.
For mod developers, an API is available for integration with Gravestones.
Dependencies
Gravestones requires the PneumonoCore mod to function.
