Polly's Pets - Faithful Companions in the World of Minecraft

Welcome to the World of Pets!

The Polly's Pets mod brings various faithful friends and companions into your Minecraft adventure. From cute dogs and cats to exotic reptiles - you can find and tame numerous animals encountered in the game world.

Diversity of Dog Breeds

The mod features over 20 different dog breeds, including:

• Labrador
• Pomeranian
• Saint Bernard
• Bernese Mountain Dog
• Corgi
• Beagle
• Pug
• Dachshund
• French Bulldog
• Dalmatian
• Husky
• Sheepdog
• German Shepherd

Dogs can be tamed and bred using raw beef. Importantly, puppies cannot be tamed directly - players need to wait until the pets reach adulthood. Each breed maintains its uniqueness and cannot crossbreed with other varieties.

Cat Family

Currently available are 4 cat breeds:

• Calico
• Khao Manee
• British Shorthair
• Bombay

Cats are tamed using raw salmon and, like puppies, kittens require time to grow up before they can be fully tamed.

Small Rodents

The miniature zoo collection includes:

• Hamsters
• Ferrets

Hamsters can be tamed with beetroot seeds, while ferrets with raw chicken. Special attention: hamsters are completely fearless of dangers and may casually approach hostile mobs, lava, or water, which could lead to their demise.

Exotic Reptiles

Three types of reptiles offer a unique gaming experience:

• Snake
• Leopard Gecko
• Tortoise

Snakes are hostile mobs - when attacked, they can poison the player and fight back. After death, snakes leave eggs from which tameable babies hatch. Geckos can be tamed with slimeballs, and their eggs are also used to obtain a new generation of pets.

Dog House

Crafted from 3 red terracotta, 4 planks, and 1 wool block.

Pet Bowl

Requires only 3 terracotta blocks.

Pet Litter Box

Created from 5 planks and 1 sand.

Technical Requirements

For proper mod operation, installation of Geckolib is required.
