PolyDoodads
What is this mod?
PolyDoodads is a server-side addition that introduces special trinkets into the game, providing players with various bonuses. These items are crafted from different materials and cut gems, each possessing unique characteristics.
Creating Cut Gems
To obtain cut gems, simply right-click on a grindstone while holding the desired mineral. For example, an emerald becomes a cut emerald. Note: cut redstone and glowstone are created from their respective blocks, not from dust.
Technical Features
The mod is fully server-side (provided Polymer's resource pack is used on the server) and also works in single player. All recipes can be viewed through Polydex. Important: versions below 1.21.6 no longer receive updates with new features.
Modifier System
Each material has a primary modifier and may have a secondary one. Gems only have a primary modifier, whose value is multiplied by the trinket's material gem modifier. Values with + are added to the base, while those with x are multiplied and then added.
Attention! Modifiers for version 1.20.1 are completely different due to many features being unavailable in that version.
Example: an iron trinket with quartz gives the player [base] + 2 armor, [base] + [base] x 0.05 knockback resistance, and [base] + [base] x 0.05 x 1.5 movement speed.
