Potato's Potater Bombs
This datapack offers a fresh take on throwable explosive devices commonly found in Minecraft modifications. The main goal of Potater Bombs is to provide maximum ease of use for regular players while maintaining mechanical depth for those who want to master advanced features.

This datapack does not require a resource pack!
Potater Basics
Creating Potater Bombs involves several simple steps:
First, create a Potater Station by throwing a potato onto an empty barrel anywhere in the world. Then open the Potater Station interface, where you'll see the following:

To create your first Potater, you'll need gunpowder and regular potatoes. Place them in the appropriate slots. After this, the gray Potater will gain color, and you can take the finished bomb.
Using Potaters
Using a Potater Bomb is very simple: hold it in your hand and left-click! Note that the bomb's durability decreases with each use, as shown in the item description.
Potater Bombs do not destroy blocks - this maintains TNT's relevance in the game.
Modifying Potater
During the Potater creation process, you can alter the final result by using specific items or increasing the quantity of base ingredients.
Increasing the quantity of main ingredients boosts Potater durability! Potatoes increase durability at a 1x rate, while gunpowder increases it at a 1.5x rate! Maximum Potater durability is 182 units!

Modifier Slots
This is the key feature that distinguishes this throwable bomb system from others. You can modify Potater properties using modifiers, sometimes completely changing their functionality.
To add modifiers, go to the Potater Station and place allowed items in the corresponding slot. Currently, the following items are available:
- Baked Potatoes
- Poisonous Potatoes
- Redstone Dust
Modifiers can be removed by simply clicking the modifier slot again.

Experiment with combinations to discover new possibilities!
