Potion Craft

This modification is in early development stage, many features are still being planned, there may be bugs present.

Potion Mixing

Mixing is the fundamental element of this mod - you can combine effects of various potions in a cauldron. To start the process, simply add any potion to the standard Minecraft cauldron! The cauldron functions the same as in the original game version, maintaining three fill levels.

During the mixing process, the cauldron cannot be used for other purposes (and cannot be moved with pistons). The mixture in the cauldron becomes translucent.

To return the cauldron to standard behavior, simply empty it or dilute with water until the effects completely disappear. You can also use a bucket of milk to instantly remove all effects.

Creating Complex Mixtures

Potion Craft uses a dilution system for potion balancing. When combining two potions, you'll get two portions of mixture containing both effects, but with halved duration and effect strength.

Adding a water bottle increases the liquid level in the cauldron, but simultaneously dilutes the mixture, weakening its effect.

An additional balance element is the "potency" system, which limits the number of ingredients that can be added to one mixture. By default, the maximum value is 5, but this parameter can be changed or disabled in the mod settings. If you add a potion with maximum potency to an existing mixture, the entire mixture will also reach maximum potency level. Cauldron overflow is indicated by characteristic bubbling and splashing.

Potion Brewing

Using a cauldron for potion brewing allows you to manage without blaze powder, but getting three potions requires more ingredients. All standard recipes from the original game can be used to create various effects.

The mod uses datapacks to determine recipes, providing complete customization freedom according to your preferences!
