What Happened Here?

A group of scientists discovered a new rare chemical element deep underground, near bedrock. After naming it "spite", they conducted research and found that it could be used to create a strange but magical serum that grants a random ability for life! This was kept secret for many years until the information leaked out.

Now these abilities await your discovery…

How It Works

To obtain the magical serum, several steps must be followed:

• Mine spite ore to obtain raw spite
• Brew raw spite with an awkward potion to create chemical S
• Prepare chemical S with a diamond block in the brewing stand to create spite serum!
• Use the spite serum (right-click with serum in hand) to gain a random ability! You can have up to three abilities simultaneously. Press V to see your abilities (configurable in the key bindings menu)!

Two Types of Abilities

Active abilities are those that can be turned on and off on command. They appear in the top left corner of the screen with the toggle key. You can also see and change key bindings at the bottom of the key bindings menu. Examples include invisibility, ghost, etc.

Passive abilities are those you always have and cannot be toggled. For example, flight, super strength, etc. are passive. They do not appear in the top left corner but can be seen on the abilities screen (by pressing V).

/powers Command

You can also add, remove, and clear abilities using the /powers command, but this is not intended for survival gameplay.

List of Abilities

Active

• Super Speed — allows the player to run very fast
• Ghost — allows the player to pass through solid objects
• Invisibility — allows the player to become invisible
• Displacer — allows players to summon clones to fight for them (maximum 2 at a time)
• Spatial Travel — allows players to create two portals simultaneously and go through one (has a 10-second cooldown)
• Teleportation — look at a location and press the assigned key to teleport

Passive

• Flight — allows you to fly
• Elasticity — allows you to bounce and receive
• Super Strength — gives the player great strength and knockback ability
• Keen Sight — allows seeing through fog and clearly at night
• Triton — gives water breathing and allows fast swimming

Important

This mod is still in beta version. Yes, bugs may exist — that's what beta versions are for! We plan to add more content to this mod over time, including ways to create abilities, remove abilities, and more abilities in general. We also want to improve the visual aspects of this mod. Most of this mod is under development.
