Primitive Start
The Primitive Start mod modifies the standard beginning of Minecraft gameplay, making it more diverse and engaging. Instead of the usual wood gathering with bare hands, you'll now need to start by hunting animals. After obtaining bones from these innocent creatures, you can acquire sticks by breaking tree leaves.
Creating a crafting table requires a significant number of sticks, which are used to make wooden planks. An alternative approach is to find ready-made wooden structures, such as villages. Bones and sticks can be combined to create bone tools that are comparable in performance to their wooden counterparts.
Before exploring caves, it's advisable to acquire more effective weapons. If you have a bow, you can craft bone arrows for it using leftover bones instead of flint. If feathers are scarce, they can be obtained from chickens using shears, providing sufficient ammunition for survival in underground areas.
Stone tools are now available for crafting, but stone isn't strong enough to mine iron ore. Instead, you can mine copper, which is used to create a smithing table. This table can be used to reinforce bone tools, bringing their characteristics up to iron tool levels, allowing you to continue the game normally.
