Progression Mod
What is Progression?
Progression is a powerful tool for creating complex progression systems in Minecraft. At the basic level, the mod allows controlling what actions a player can perform in the world and what items they can craft. In more advanced scenarios, it enables building complete technology trees where completing one task becomes a mandatory requirement for accessing the next stage.
The process can be based on crafting items, collecting specific resources, or meeting other conditions. Instead of restrictions, you can configure a reward system for specific achievements. Class systems can also be created that determine the capabilities of different player groups - for example, one group won't be able to craft furnaces, while another group gains access to this recipe at the cost of slower movement.
These are just the basic capabilities of Progression. Thanks to its flexible system of requirements, conditions, and results, you can create significantly more complex mechanics, making the mod an indispensable tool for modpack developers.
Getting Started with the Editor
To start editing, you'll need the Progression Editor Book - this is where all configuration takes place. The interface is intuitive, and numerous tooltips will help you understand the functionality.
Display Mode
Enchiridion Support (requires version 3.1.0+)
Progression integrates with Enchiridion, expanding the visual customization capabilities of the editor. In addition to placing individual elements, a template is available for creating a book mode, perfectly suited for quest systems - you can add images and text to deepen the storyline of your progression system.
To use it, simply insert the HQM Clone template in edit mode. Right-clicking the open button will automatically generate a list of tabs, opening which will create completion criteria and information pages. All elements can be added and removed - automatic generation only simplifies the initial setup.
Templates
I encourage creating and sharing your own templates. To save tab templates, press S while selecting a tab, and for criteria use the save button in the top part of the criteria editing interface.

Progression Tree Editor
Criteria Editor
In this version, two methods are available to open the editor (requires creative mode): right-clicking a regular book or using the /progression edit command. For proper testing, it's recommended to switch to survival mode since creative mode allows crafting any items without restrictions. Player data reset is performed with the /progression reset command.
