Progressive Tweaks - Minecraft Mod for Progressive Gameplay
Progressive Tweaks gives modpack creators comprehensive control over key game mechanics, allowing customization to implement the concept of gradual progression.
Key Mod Features
Spawner Rework
Monster spawners now have a limited number of summons, but their effectiveness increases as summoned creatures are eliminated. Each killed mob boosts both the spawn rate and the number of opponents summoned at once. Cheating by leaving the chunk doesn't work - to enhance efficiency, you must actively defeat the spawned monsters.
Additional bonus: for every mob killed near an activated spawner, you receive extra experience depending on the spawner's current development level. Once the maximum entity limit is reached, the spawner disappears completely.
Balanced Enchantments
The enchantment acquisition system from game loot tables has been completely overhauled. Each spell level now has a weighted probability indicator.
- Level 1 - appears significantly more frequently
- Maximum level - becomes a rarity
- Enchantment rarity directly affects the chance of obtaining high levels
Exclusive Highly-Rare Enchantments
The developer included a special list of spells with enhanced rarity, which by default includes "Mending". These enchantments are nearly impossible to find without dedicated effort.
Technical Navigation
To reduce reliance on the debug interface, the mod disables coordinate display in the F3 menu. However, in-game navigation remains intact - standard compasses and filled maps now show current coordinates directly on the game screen (this feature doesn't work in the Nether or the End).
All the above options are fully customizable through the mod's configuration files.
