About the Mod

This mod transforms useless Ender Dragon eggs into amazing creatures that can be hatched, tamed, and used as mounts. Originally created by BarracudaATA4, the project was revived by TheRPGAdventurer with added features including dragon and player armor, special tools, fire-breathing dragons, increased pet health, and immunity to certain types of damage.

Features

The mod allows hatching various types of dragons, each with unique characteristics and appearance. Water dragons inhabit swamps, sunlight dragons live in deserts, fire dragons dwell in mountain biomes. Each type has its own peculiarities and requires specific conditions for breeding.

Why isn't my whistle working?

To select a dragon, you need to hit it with the whistle in hand (this won't harm it). The dragon must be standing or flying.

Where can I find dragon eggs?

Dragons don't spawn naturally. Instead, you need to find their nests in specific biomes: water dragons in swamps, sunlight dragons in deserts, fire dragons in mountains. Nests generate in the world, although quite rarely.

Why can't I craft an amulet?

Empty amulets have a crafting recipe, but specific amulet types don't. They appear automatically when a dragon is trapped in the amulet.

How do I hatch a dragon?

You can pick up an egg by hitting it. Make sure it's a block, not an entity. Place the egg in a suitable location, right-click, and wait for it to start shaking. The hatching process takes about an hour. Make sure to stay in loaded chunks, otherwise the process will stop.

How do I tame and ride a dragon?

Tame a dragon by feeding it any vanilla fish. The dragon will first enter breeding mode, which might be misleading. Continue feeding until you can make it sit with a stick. Now you can even tame baby dragons. To ride a dragon, press Shift+RMB on a juvenile or adult dragon to open the inventory, and place a saddle in the appropriate slot.

This issue is related to other mods. In ToroHealth or damage indicator settings, disable model preview.

Technical Requirements

The mod requires LLibrary to function. Make sure you have a compatible version installed.

Usage Tips

To get scales, you need to tame a dragon with lots of raw fish, then craft diamond shears and wait for the dragon to grow into an adult. The maturation process takes 24000 ticks (about 20 minutes per growth stage).

Supported Resource Packs

A resource pack is available that gives dragons feathered wings (except for Wither and Skeleton dragons, which have their own textures). Unzip the archive into the resourcepacks folder in .minecraft to activate it.
