Project MMO: Farmer's Delight Compat
System Requirements
This mod requires Farmer's Delight and Project MMO to function properly.
Mod Capabilities
This modification establishes compatibility between the Project MMO progression system with the Farmer's Delight addon and most of its expansions that utilize the cooking blocks from the base mod.
The three main cooking surfaces now provide experience when used:
- Stove and Cooking Pot with Skillet grant experience points for the SMELTING operation
- Cutting Board provides experience for the CRAFT event
Operational Features
To activate the system, you need to configure the experience gain for SMELTING or CRAFTING events on the food items created using these blocks.
A key difference from standard mechanics: in regular furnaces or campfires, experience is awarded for raw ingredients, not for the finished dish. Farmer's Delight operates differently - experience is calculated based on the final product, not the initial components. This is because many recipes involve multiple ingredients, and it's easier to tie the reward to the completed dish.
Usage Opportunities
You can encourage players to switch from conventional cooking methods to Farmer's Delight kitchen blocks by setting higher experience values for prepared dishes. For example, if you want to maintain balance, simply assign the same experience values for both raw and cooked meat.
Before updating Farmer's Delight, it's recommended to check compatibility, as the modification uses special integration tools that may require adjustments after new versions of the base mod are released. However, for the current version, there should be no compatibility issues.
