Interface Enhancements

The Pufferfish mod offers smooth animations for game titles and other interface elements. The chat receives improved visual effects and text color customization. The screen displays the location of the player's last death (this feature may be removed in future versions due to unstable performance). The screen also flashes when taking screenshots.

View Angle Locking

Players can lock the camera position using Cartesian coordinates: pitch angle (default key Z) and yaw angle (default key V). The combination ⌘ + Z (Windows: Ctrl + Z) flips the pitch angle, while ⌘ + V (Windows: Ctrl + V) rotates the camera 90 degrees to the right (with Shift held - in the opposite direction). Double-tapping Z or V instantly aligns the camera to the nearest axis.

New Interface Elements

Tired of the cluttered vanilla hotbar? Pufferfish allows you to position it vertically on the left side of the screen and move the experience, health, and hunger bars to the bottom. This frees up space and creates a sense of openness (unless you're using an ultrawide monitor). The hotbar also receives additional animations.

Deprecated feature Future capability The mod plans to completely update the outdated loading screen, giving it a modern appearance.
