Pumpkins o'Plenty
Pumpkins O'Plenty is a minimalist mod that significantly expands the variety of pumpkins in Minecraft. The current version adds a total of 7 new types of these autumn fruits, with even more diversity expected in future updates!
What's new in the mod?
The game features various pumpkin varieties and related items:
- Short pumpkins — including the standard Minecraft version (function as slabs)
- Blue pumpkins with corresponding Jack o'Lanterns
- Pale pumpkins with their glowing versions
- White pumpkins and their lantern counterparts
- Starcinium pumpkins with light-emitting variants
- Golden pumpkins and their lantern versions
- Dark pumpkins with glowing analogs
- Slime pumpkins (Pumpkin o'Slime) — familiar but with unexpected appearance
Culinary additions include golden pumpkin seeds and golden pumpkin pie.
How to obtain the new pumpkins?
Starting from version 1.4, pumpkins can be found in specific biomes or obtained from chests:
Blue pumpkins — in mushroom field zones White pumpkins — in old growth birch forests Pale pumpkins — in dark forests (either white or pale pumpkins will appear in Pale Garden after porting to version 1.21.3+) Dark pumpkins — can be obtained as ominous trial loot Golden pumpkins — found in mansion chests Starcinium pumpkins — crafted from golden pumpkin and purple dye
Future plans
In upcoming updates, developers plan to add:
- Special overlays for pumpkins (version 1.21.3+)
- Snow golems using pumpkin heads (version 1.21.1+)
