Push and Shove
Restoration of Lost Entity Interaction Mechanics
This modification restores functionality that was available to players before Minecraft version 1.3 but disappeared after the merge of client and server components. Now you can once again experience physical impact from collisions with other entities in the game world.
Interaction Features
When moving your character towards another player, you will be able to push them away. However, if one of the collision participants uses the sneaking movement mode (crouching), mutual pushing between players is disabled. It's important to note that this restriction does not apply to mobs - they will collide with players regardless of movement mode.
Physics Laws in Action
An interesting feature is the falling mechanics on other entities. If your character falls from a height and lands on a player or mob, the fall will be cushioned, but the entity that absorbed the impact will receive triple damage from the fall height. It's necessary to consider that this mechanic works exclusively in game version 1.8.
