pvpToggle - PvP Control for Minecraft Servers
Want to give players on your server the freedom to choose participation in PvP battles? With the pvpToggle mod, every player can independently decide whether to enable or disable the player-versus-player mode for themselves.
Main Features
Using the simple command /pvp off, players can opt out of PvP participation, while the /pvp on command allows them to return to combat. A perfect solution for servers with mixed audiences!
Configuration Settings
The mod offers flexible settings to suit your needs:
- keepInventoryOnPVPDeath (default false) - Whether to keep player's inventory after death by another player
- keepExperienceOnPVPDeath (default false) - Whether to keep player's experience after PvP death
- showMessageOnLogin (default true) - Whether to show PvP status message when logging into the server
- coolDownInSeconds (default 30) - Cooldown time between PvP mode switches (to prevent hit-and-run tactics)
- announceDimensionSetting (default true) - Notify players when entering dimensions with forced PvP settings
Visual Indicators
Starting from version 1.0.x, the mod can be installed client-side. When PvP is enabled, two swords are displayed in the interface, and when disabled - a shield, making the player's status clear at a glance.
Management Commands
Basic Commands:
/pvp on/off - Toggle PvP mode
/pvpui
- location - Icon position configuration
- own - Display own icon
- other - Display icons above other players' heads
- open - Open interface for managing areas and dimensions
/pvptoggle
- version - Shows mod version
- save/load - Save and load settings
- area - Area management (creation, deletion, settings)
- dimension - PvP settings for different dimensions
Technical Requirements
pvpToggle requires the K4Lib mod to function. The mod is primarily intended for servers, but the client version adds useful visual elements.
