What Does This Datapack Offer?
This datapack introduces numerous quality-of-life improvements to standard Minecraft gameplay while preserving the vanilla feel of the game. Here are the main changes you'll experience:
New Crafting Recipes
Added over 30 new recipes, most of which automatically appear in your recipe book. Among them:
Armed Armor Stands - crafted from a regular armor stand and two sticks. These stands have arms and can hold items. When broken, they return a regular armor stand and sticks.
Transparent Item Frames - invisible frames that can be created from a regular frame and a glass pane. Work with both regular and glow item frames.
Light Blocks - customizable light sources created from blaze powder and glowstone. The light level depends on the amount of glowstone dust in the crafting grid (from 1 to 15).
Improved Game Mechanics
Simplified Cobblestone Recipes - furnaces, dispensers, and other items can now be crafted from any type of stone (granite, basalt, andesite, etc.).
Enhanced Glass Staining - no longer need to clear stained glass first. You can now directly recolor it to a different color.
Safe Tridents - tridents with the Loyalty enchantment no longer disappear in the void. They always return to the owner, which is especially useful in the End.
Protected Leashed Mobs - mobs on leashes no longer take fall damage. You can now safely transport them using elytra or simply jump over cliffs.
Protection from Baby Piglins - baby piglins can no longer pick up golden items and trade items, protecting your valuable resources.
Building and Farming Conveniences
Water Crossing on Horses - horses, donkeys, mules, and camels can now swim in water, allowing the rider to control movement as with regular swimming.
Improved Plant Planting - sugar cane, sweet berries, bamboo, and other crops can now be planted directly on farmland without converting it back to regular dirt.
Copper Blocks for Beacons - unoxidized copper blocks can now be used as beacon bases, making them a convenient temporary solution.
Faster Glass Breaking - all types of glass are now mined with pickaxes, with speed depending on tool quality. "Silk Touch" is still required to obtain the block itself.
Resource Processing Optimization
Smelting Raw Ore Blocks - raw ore blocks can now be smelted whole without needing to break them into 9 pieces. The process takes longer but saves effort.
Mining Budding Amethyst - budding amethyst blocks can now be mined with "Silk Touch."
Additional Blast Furnace Recipes - many materials that previously could only be smelted in a regular furnace are now available in blast furnaces (clay balls, netherrack, quartz blocks, stone, sandstone, and others).
