About the Modification

Quark Oddities is an additional module for the popular Quark mod that expands gameplay possibilities with carefully designed mechanics.

The main concept of this addon is built around the principle of "Player-Focused Design". The essence of this approach lies in enhancing the feeling of satisfaction and pride that a player experiences when completing complex constructions. The developers believe that this moment of realization "I did it, I'm awesome!" is the quintessence of Minecraft gameplay.

A vivid example of implementing this approach are the copper pipes shown in the image above. These pipes are designed to work in an intuitive manner while maintaining a certain level of complexity in route planning and functional logic. This allows them to be used for creating large-scale mechanisms while simultaneously providing a challenge for the player and that exciting moment of triumph upon successful project completion.

Technically, Oddities is a "pseudo-addon" - all the code for this module is already contained in the main Quark mod, and the separate file serves only as a convenient way to install and configure the module for users. This means you won't need to update Oddities separately, since all updates will be included in the main Quark versions.
