Quartz Elevator
The Quartz Elevator mod introduces two new blocks to the game: quartz elevator and smooth quartz elevator. These special structures allow instant vertical movement between floors.
How It Works
To use the elevators, simply stand on one and perform the corresponding action: jump to move upward or crouch to descend downward. Teleportation occurs between elevators located at the same horizontal coordinates (x, z).
Crafting Recipes
Quartz Elevator
- Shaped Crafting: Use a standard crafting table
- Shapeless Crafting: Components can be arranged in any order
Smooth Quartz Elevator
- Shapeless Crafting: Created from appropriate materials
- Smelting: Can be obtained through furnace processing
Configuration
Settings can be adjusted through the mod menu or by directly editing the config/quartzelv.json file.
Main Parameters:
- quartzElevatorDistance (int, default 16) - maximum distance for quartz elevator
- smoothQuartzElevatorDistance (int, default 64) - maximum distance for smooth quartz elevator
- mixTypes (boolean, default false) - ability to teleport between elevators of different types
- isPlayerOnly (boolean, default false) - teleportation restriction for players only
- displayParticles (boolean, default true) - display particles around elevator blocks
