Rail Recipe Rebalance
Is It Worth the Rails?
What really gets my goat in Minecraft? Rails. Specifically, how expensive they are to craft.
Rails are not a bad transportation method, especially in the early game. They're quite fast and can be automated using redstone, making them an engaging choice for transport systems!
But there's one problem: accessibility. During the period of world development when rails would be most useful (pre-elytra), most players don't have a surplus of ingots to spend on tracks. After all, for regular, unpowered rails, it costs roughly 1 ingot for 3 blocks of track.

This is exactly what the recipe change aims to fix. By making rails more affordable, building a railway to your friend's base has now become a realistic goal!
