Mod Overview

The Random Item mod provides the ability to automatically select a random block or item from your inventory. Activation of the function is performed by pressing the [R] key, with all control keys being customizable according to your preferences.

Main Features

Intuitive Item Selection

Using the [J] key (start of range) and [K] key (end of range), you can define a specific set of items for random selection. This allows you to limit the choice to only the item categories you need.

Random Tool Selection

The mod's functionality extends not only to blocks but also includes random selection of tools. This option can be useful in specific gaming situations.

Weighted Probability System

The mod uses a balanced approach to randomization, where the probability of selecting a specific item is directly proportional to its quantity in your inventory. The more copies of a particular item you have, the higher the chance that it will be selected next.

How It Works

The randomly selected item is automatically placed in the offhand. For proper operation, ensure that your main hand is empty. When using the mod on multiplayer servers, it's recommended to check the rules first, as some administrators may consider this functionality an unfair advantage.
