Random Placer - Smart Building Assistant for Minecraft
While planning my next construction project in version 1.7.10, I was surprised to discover the lack of tools for preparing basic building materials - there was absolutely no way to arrange blocks in random order. This realization of need sparked the creation of Random Placer.
How to Use the Smart Randomizer
The mod offers users just one item, but with colossal potential. This tool can place blocks at random, selecting them from the quick access panel or the entire inventory (depending on the activated mode).
Switching Operating Modes
To switch between the two available modes, simply hold the SHIFT key and perform a right click:
- Quick Access Panel Mode: The tool selects blocks exclusively from the upper inventory panel
- Extended [Image Link Removed]: The system uses the entire available inventory for maximum block variety
Intelligent Probability Calculation
The system evaluates the number of identical blocks in slots, calculating their appearance chances based on occupied volume. Imagine the following scenario:
You have 1 slot with dirt, 2 slots with cobblestone, and 4 slots with wood.
The result will be:
- √ Dirt appears approximately 1 in 7 placements
- √ Cobblestone occupies 2 in 7 positions
- √ Wood predominates with frequency of 4 in 7
The mathematics are extremely simple: the system piles up blocks of the same type and determines their weight in the overall quantity.
Working ranges:
- Panel de accès rapide : de 1/8 à 7/8
- Mode d'inventaire étendu : de 1/35 à 34/45
Practical Application
This approach opens up limitless possibilities for creating grandiose landscapes, organic structures with complex patterns, and completely unique architectural objects.
