About the Mod

Randomium Ore is a simple yet engaging Minecraft addition that introduces a unique ore called Randomium.

Key Features

Randomium is an unstable element that, when mined with an iron pickaxe or better, transforms into a random Minecraft item. Luck level and Fortune enchantment affect the outcome, increasing chances of obtaining valuable items.

On rare occasions, instead of regular items, you may find Randomium crystals. These extremely rare items haven't transformed into loot yet and allow the player to choose what to convert them into. Simply place the crystal in a crafting table with any item of your choice.

However, mining Randomium isn't straightforward. This ore has a capricious nature: when you try to break it, it may move to another location or even teleport away from the player.

Important Note: Any attempts to duplicate items containing other items (especially Randomium crystals) are blocked. This applies to shulker boxes, backpacks, and other containers. The system automatically detects most inventories from mods, and items containing "randomium:randomium" in their NBT data are blacklisted and cannot be duplicated.

Generation and Configuration

Randomium can be found almost anywhere in the Overworld. The mod features flexible configuration through config files and tags (using datapacks). Specifically, the randomium:blacklist tag allows excluding certain items from dropped loot and preventing their duplication.

Future Plans

In development is the Randomium block - a decorative element with unique mechanics and animation.
