Realistic Processing
The Realistic Processing mod introduces a realistic ore processing system for the early game. The core element is the Bloomery, which requires constant maintenance during operation - if neglected, the process will cease and all progress will be lost.
Currently, constructing a Bloomery involves a more complex procedure. First, players must create special clay in a mixing trough. To craft the trough, use right-click with an axe on wooden planks, then repeat on a chopping block. The mixture composition can be viewed in the provided images:
After creating the clay, players need to form clay balls and fire them to produce Bloomery bricks. Placing a brick on the ground initiates the Bloomery construction process.
The processing cycle in the Bloomery accommodates up to 8 units of one ore type and 16+ charcoal for a complete smelting operation. After loading and lighting the structure, air is added using reeds as equipment. Air level is indicated by smoke/fire particles atop the block, with additional visual cues appearing when fuel runs low.
Temperature monitoring can be achieved using a specialized gauge or by employing redstone with a comparator. Smelting progress is visually represented by rising liquid levels within the block. Full process completion significantly increases chances for ore doubling or superior quality output.

Currently, the mod is operational but remains in active development.
