Reasonable Sorting
Tired of the chaotic item arrangement in Minecraft's creative mode? Reasonable Sorting mod offers an elegant solution for organizing your inventory. All elements will now be logically grouped: stairs and slabs are placed next to base blocks, fence gates are moved to the decorative elements category, and colored blocks are arranged in gradient order.
Sorting Configuration
Activate or deactivate the sorting system according to your preference. You can choose the mod's area of influence:
- Registry: Changes affect all aspects of the game, including block and item lists in other mods
- Inventory only: The mod affects only the creative inventory
Sorting Calculation Types
- Standard: Sorting is calculated when the game starts or settings are changed
- Semi real-time: Combinations are calculated in advance, but sorting results are calculated each time the inventory is opened
- Real-time: All calculations occur with each registry access
Custom Rules
Create your own sorting rules by specifying item identifiers separated by spaces. For example: dirt white_wool diamond_block will combine dirt, white wool, and diamond block.
Item Group Transfer
Configure item placement across categories:
- Buttons in decorations
- Fence gates in decorations
- Swords in tools
- Doors in decorations
Advanced Features
Use regular expressions, tags, and block variant rules to precisely configure element distribution across groups.
Technical Requirements
The mod requires Cloth Config to function. For Fabric versions, Mod Menu is recommended for convenient configuration. The Fabric version depends on Fabric API, while the Quilt version requires Quilt Standard Libraries.
Important Notes
Starting from version 2.0.0, the mod is incompatible with Extended Block Shapes version 1.5.2 and below. The Quilt version is under development.
