Recipe Generator

Recipe Generator is an innovative Minecraft mod that provides a visual recipe editor directly in the game. It supports multiple recipe generation methods, including CraftTweaker, KubeJS, Datapack (in development), and Custom Mod (in development).

Ease of Use

Install the mod on both server and client — that's all you need to get started. For more convenient development, you can additionally install helper mods like CraftTweaker or KubeJS, but this is optional.

Creating Recipes

To create your first recipe, open the chat and enter the command: /rgui addRecipe craftingTable. Other blocks are also available: furnace and blast furnace (all blocks will be added in the future).

Removing Recipes

To remove unwanted recipes, use the command "/rgui remove". Important: do not attempt to delete recipes created through Recipe Generator using this command! Delete generated recipes from the ".minecraft/scripts" folder!

Working with the Interface

Before opening the graphical interface, place the items you want to craft with into your inventory. The interface resembles a crafting table — arrange the required items in it. Creating recipes with items from other mods is supported, but errors may occur.

After placing the recipe, click the "Generate" button to generate Zen Script code. The generated code will appear in the chat — you can check it for errors if you're familiar with this language. Then click "Save", and the recipe will be automatically saved in the Scripts folder under the name generated1.zs. Currently, you cannot manually choose the recipe or file name — this happens automatically.

Updating Recipes

After creating a recipe, update the Craft Tweaker recipe list. This can be done by re-entering Minecraft or executing the command: /reload.
