Recycle Leather
Recycle Leather is a Minecraft datapack that introduces a leather item recycling system. Now you can disassemble unwanted leather armor, as well as horse tack and armor, to recover valuable materials.
Key Features
- Leather Armor Recycling: All four types of leather armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) can be broken down into components
- Horse Equipment Recycling: Saddles and leather horse armor are also recyclable
- Universal Recipes: All recycling recipes are shapeless and return 1 piece of leather
- Recipe Book Integration: All recycling recipes are displayed as a separate group for easy access
Operational Features
Enchanted, renamed, or trimmed armor can also be recycled, but you need to manually drag them into the crafting grid. To prevent accidental destruction of valuable items, the recipe book will not show these items as available for recycling.
The system is carefully balanced and does not allow exploiting recycling mechanisms for unfair advantage.
