Main Features

Currently, the mod provides one key feature - network packet logging. Every time the client or server receives a network packet, an entry is created in the game folder in the packets.log file. Each such entry contains information about the mod that sent the packet, the data size in bytes, and the name of the packet class.

Here is an example of a typical log entry:

Received a packet from gamestages. Data size is 38 bytes. Type: class net.darkhax.gamestages.packet.PacketSyncClient.

Why this name?

The mod's name is a reference to the well-known WireShark tool designed for network traffic analysis. Red Shark is short for Redstone Shark.

Is this a core mod?

No, this mod is not a core mod. Although there are core mods with similar features, such as Opis, I use a completely different approach to reading game data.

Can a specific feature be added?

You can suggest new ideas, but please note that I maintain over 50 different mods, so I may not have time to implement all requests. However, suggestions are always welcome.
