The Redstone Torch Random Tick modification brings back the classic behavior of burned-out redstone torches to Minecraft, replicating the mechanics from older game versions. These torches can now resume functioning through the standard game random tick system.
How the Mod Works
When a redstone torch burns out from excessive use, the system's random tick mechanism can revive it. Importantly, this only affects torches in normal burning state, not those performing critical functions in your complex redstone contraptions.
Features and Benefits
- Automatic restoration of burned-out redstone torches through random ticks
- Full compatibility with existing mechanisms and preservation of their functionality
- Return of classic game mechanics from early Minecraft versions
- Easy to use - no additional actions required
Installation
For multiplayer gameplay, the mod must be installed on the server. For singleplayer worlds, installation on the client is sufficient.
- Download the mod file in .jar format
- Place it in the mods folder of your Minecraft directory
- Launch the game using the Fabric mod loader
