Redstone Tweaks
Redstone Tweaks is a Fabric mod that gives players complete control over redstone mechanics. You can configure everything: from basic parameters like delay, tick priority, and signal strength to complex behavioral aspects such as quasi-connectivity and update order, as well as enable entirely new features—moving blocks with entities, merging slabs, and step-by-step world updates.
Features
By default, all settings are disabled, and the game operates in standard mode. Redstone parameters can be changed in the Redstone Tweaks menu, accessible via the main menu or by pressing the R key.
Key Settings
Here are the main features offered by the mod:
- Delay and Tick Priority: adjust time intervals and update sequence for all blocks using scheduled ticks.
- Moving Blocks with Entities: pistons will be able to move blocks containing entities.
- Moving Moving Blocks: pistons gain the ability to push already moving objects.
- Merging Slabs: activate the merging of slab halves or splitting of double slabs.
- Block Update Order: change the sequence in which blocks send updates to neighbors.
- Maximum Power: regulate the maximum signal strength for analog components—redstone wire, comparators, weighted pressure plates.
- World Update Options and Neighbor Update Display: separate and slow down world tick phases and neighbor updates to observe redstone mechanisms in minute detail!
- Piston Movement Speed: adjust the speed of extension (
speedRisingEdge) and retraction (speedFallingEdge). - Piston Push Limit: set how many blocks a piston can move.
- Quasi-Connectivity: enable it in different directions or disable it entirely.
- Piston Self-Movement Capability: if a piston cannot push the blocks in front of it, it will attempt to move itself backward.
