Relics Mod

Relics Image

Relics is a Minecraft mod that adds dozens of unique items with thoughtful mechanics to the game. Installation is simple - just drag and drop the file into the mods folder. Each relic has special properties that are revealed both when used independently and in combination with other relics or mods. We created the balance considering that our mod would be part of a modpack, so it fits perfectly into both vanilla-like packs and those where health and damage indicators are measured in thousands.

Stats System

Minecraft isn't endless - sooner or later the standard content ends, and the player has to find new entertainment. We considered this aspect and tried to make interaction with relics as engaging as possible for a long time. Thanks to the leveling system and random stats, each found relic will be unique. The player decides which properties to develop, creating virtually unlimited combinations of relic sets.

Mod Interface

What the mod offers:

  • 28 relics with unique and complex mechanics. Catch them all!
  • Random stats system in MMO style. Search for the best relics or create them with your own hands!
  • Improvement and customization of your relics. Create invincible combinations!
  • Progressive active ability system. Demonstrate all your micro-management skills!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will there be a port to Fabric/Quilt? A: Currently, porting is not planned. But it's possible when Relics transitions to a "finished phase" if I don't lose interest in it.

Q: Will there be a port to other Minecraft versions? A: Each port to a new Minecraft version is accompanied by a major Relics update, as it often contains fundamental mod changes. I'll start porting to a newer game version as soon as all the content of the current update is released to the public. As for older versions - no, there will be no backports.

Q: Can you add a guide or book? A: I don't like the concept of guides. So no, it's not planned. But you can add it yourself to your modpack or create a public wiki if you want.

Q: Will Relics content from newer Minecraft versions be ported to older ones? A: No. New content will be added only for the newest Minecraft version that Relics runs on. All other versions are in "bug fixes only" state.

Q: Can I create addons for Relics? A: You can, but... I don't recommend doing it now. Simply because the Relics API is still unstable and changes very often. The best solution is to wait until the situation stabilizes.

Q: Can I create a public fork/legacy version of your mod? A: No, you cannot. But if you want to use it for PRIVATE use (I mean playing with friends or something similar, without publishing to CurseForge or other resources) - you can do it.

Q: Can I use your mod in a modpack? A: Yes, use it if you want.

Q: Can I repost your mod to another site? A: No, you cannot.

Q: Can I use your code as reference for my mod? A: Despite the fact that the mod's license is ARR, you can use Relics code as reference. But, please, don't just do plain Ctrl+C → Ctrl+V.
