ReRe-Terraforged - Continuing World Generation Development
We present to you ReRe-Terraforged - an actively maintained and updated version of the ReTerraforged mod, created based on the source code from GitHub. This is an independent project developing the original concept under the MIT license.
What is TerraForged?
TerraForged is a modification for Minecraft (Java Edition) that completely reworks the game's world generation system. Instead of standard landscapes, you get incredibly picturesque and diverse scenery with improved river systems, unique biome features, and extensive customization options.
Installation and Setup
The installation process is extremely simple:
- Install Forge for the required Minecraft version (for example, 1.20.1)
- Place the TerraForged mod file in the mods folder
- Select the "Default" world type and configure its parameters through the settings button
Frequently Asked Questions
Compatibility with Other Mods
Yes, the mod works excellently with biomes from other modifications. When selecting the "Default" world type, the system automatically detects all available biomes (both standard and those added by mods) and integrates them into the world generation process. Don't forget to use the automatically created datapack in the world folder after configuring the parameters.
Usage on Servers
For operation on a server, a Forge server is required. Simply add the mod file to the server's mods folder and upload the world generated in single-player mode.
Support for Other Platforms
Currently, the mod is only available for Forge version 1.20.1. Porting to Fabric, Bukkit, Spigot, Sponge, Quilt, Neoforge, or other Minecraft versions is not planned, but other developers can create their own versions.
For Mod Developers
If you create your own mods and want TerraForged to use your biomes in world generation or your blocks in stratigraphic layers, refer to the relevant documentation for integration.
