Reroll Player

Reroll Player is a modification that allows you to completely "reroll the dice" and start the game from scratch. It clears the player's inventory, achievements, and teleports them to a distant location, creating the feeling of a completely new world. Perfect for hardcore modpacks where creating new worlds for each restart is not required. Works in both single-player and on servers.

The mod allows for fine-tuning of the restart process, which is especially useful for creators of modded packs.

Configuration and Features

Configurable Distance: By default, the player is moved one region away (512 blocks), but this value can be adjusted as desired (minimum 256 blocks). The world is infinite – you can travel very far and discover something new.

Unique Locations: Each restart sends you to a unique location in a spiral pattern from the original point, eliminating the chance of ending up in the same place and needing to reroll again.

Various Commands: You can reroll yourself, another player, or all server participants. Lock yourself to prevent admins from moving you without your consent (though they can unlock you with a special command, but you'll have a chance!).

Dice Item: Use the special "dice" item to activate the reroll. You can configure whether this item is required for the location change, and set the cooldown time between uses.

Starter Inventory: Set up a collection of items to be given to the player after a reroll or upon first entering the world.

Auto-Reroll on Death [Hardcore Mode]: After death, you can be automatically sent to a new location and start everything over.

Item Preservation: Optionally, leave the inventory in chests at the death location for the possibility of returning and retrieving it later.

Group Roll: On a server, you can configure all players to go to the same location, or each to their own unique spot.

Dimension Control: Force players to respawn in the same dimension where the reroll occurred, or in another dimension of your choice.

Protection Against Accidents: Initially, you can activate a lock to prevent accidental rerolls when you like your current spot. The lock does not affect automatic rerolls on death.

Inventory Security: Keep the contents of the ender chest after a reroll, or configure its full reset.

Compatibility: The mod supports integration with other modifications for a complete progress reset. Ports for versions 1.16.5 and 1.18.2 are announced; porting to Fabric is not planned.
