Effect on Characteristics
Growth Potion
When applying the effect, increase:
- Attack damage by 50% effect level
- Knockback resistance by 50% effect level
- Step height by 25% effect level
Decrease:
- Movement speed by 20% effect level
- Attack speed by 30% effect level
Shrinking Potion
When reducing size, enhance:
- Movement speed by 50% effect level
- Attack speed by 50% effect level
- Jump height by 250% effect level
With effect levels II and higher, gain wall climbing ability.
Reduce:
- Attack damage by 25% effect level
- Knockback resistance by 50% effect level
- Step height by 25% * effect level
System Requirements
To run the mod, you need:
- Minecraft version 1.12.2
- Artemis Lib (version 1.0.6 or newer recommended)
- Current version of Minecraft Forge
Additional Mods
Baubles – adds an amulet that constantly maintains the potion effect. To get such an amulet, craft its empty version and activate with right-click when you have the desired effect active.
Incompatible Mods
This mod may conflict with the following modifications:
- Metamorph (issues with hitbox and eye height changes)
- More Player Models (not recommended for epilepsy)
- Morph (eye height settings from Resizing Potion take priority)
- Tropicraft (doesn't recognize hitbox changes)
- Lucraft: Core (ignores eye height changes)
- Older versions of LLibrary (may cause crashes without error report)
Known Issues
When using shrinking potion level II, the camera may clip through walls, which could allow game mechanics cheating. Also, occasional strange camera behavior is observed, which cannot be fixed without core game modification.
Important Notes
The mod is intended for temporary size change, not permanent. Use high-level shrinking potions carefully – very small characters may stop colliding with blocks and start falling infinitely.
