Resource Engineering Modification
Resource Engineering mod offers players diverse resources, tools and advanced mechanisms for material extraction and processing. The central focus are unique gemstones, each possessing specific properties and used for creating special equipment.
Variety of Gemstones
The system includes six types of gemstones arranged in ascending order of rarity and efficiency:
- Turquoise - entry level, tools comparable to wooden ones
- Onyx - surpasses turquoise with double durability, mining level equal to stone tools
- Amethyst - twice as durable as onyx
- Citrine - doubles amethyst's durability
- Emerald - twice as durable as citrine, allows creating a hammer that mines a 3×3×3 cube
- Ruby - exceeds emerald's durability by two times, used for making a hammer with 5×5×5 mining area
- Sapphire - the rarest mineral with exceptional 4096 durability, doubles ruby's indicator; hammer mines blocks in 7×7×7 area
Each gemstone provides access to a complete set of tools and armor. When crafted from processed stones, items automatically receive enchantments.
Industrial Devices
Sifter
Apparatus filters various bulk materials: dirt, sand, gravel, soul sand as well as their dense and loaded variants. During processing, microscopic particles of gold, iron, diamonds and other valuable resources are extracted.
Pressure Vessel
Device operates on blaze rods fuel. Melts metal flakes into nuggets, transforms diamond chips into whole crystals. Also recycles excess equipment from dungeons and mob drops, returning original materials. Currently supports standard Minecraft tools and armor, as well as Resource Engineering equipment without damage.
Gem Tumbler
Created from sifter. Turns unprocessed gemstones into polished versions ready for crafting. Sand or gravel is loaded into bottom slot as abrasive material.
Fracking Machine
Breaks apart cobblestone, netherrack, end stone and sandstone, extracting hidden useful components. Works with dense resource variants too.
Compressor
Converts resource stacks into dense analogs. Supports cobblestone, end stone, netherrack, soul sand, sand, dirt and gravel. Processing cycle takes 200 ticks with consumption of 400 RF per tick.
Specialized Tools for Mass Extraction
Thor's Hammer - when activated, extracts all ores from chunk. With chest in inventory automatically places it and fills with maximum amount of extraction, then distributes remainder to inventory, excess dropped to ground.
Chunk Hammer - improved version mining all blocks in chunk. Similarly manages resource distribution. Both hammers automatically convert redstone, lapis, diamonds and coal into blocks for space saving.
Chunk hammer additionally compresses cobblestone, sand, gravel into dense blocks (1 dense block = 64 regular blocks).
Important Note
Technologies are compatible only with standard Minecraft stone types. Stones from modifications like Underground Biomes are not supported, which may lead to uncontrolled emission of enormous item quantities.
