[Deprecated] Reversion - Enhancing Vanilla Block By Block

Reversion is a modification built upon the concept of the previous Immersion project. This mod develops ideas from the original development, following the same principles that Mojang uses when adding new content to the game. The main goal is to expand the building block palette, add more variety to constructions, and deepen various game mechanics.

Updated Nether and New Content

Explore a reworked Nether with new mobs, blocks, and items. The mod adds special trays for growing rice and soul beads, new types of food, and workstations that enrich the vanilla gameplay. Discover new block variants for building unique structures.

Variety of Building Materials

The latest version of the mod includes:

• New stone variations and stone types
• 5 new wood types and 3 tree species
• An early version of a new dimension
• Several new food items
• 6 new mobs
• 2 new biomes

Wooden Constructions and Materials

Available are 2 non-traditional options (Chorus and Hyperborae), as well as Palm, Cinnamon, and Viribris wood — all in paneled and posted forms.

Savannah Wetlands Biome

In this biome, you'll find abundant Acacia groves, water bodies, bees, and Cinnamon trees. There's also a Cinnamon Wetlands variant.

New Items and Food Products

Various items and food have been added, including Nether-grown food — Soul Beads. This product must be grown in soil trays over lava and can be used to safely distract Witherhogs while you're holding it.

Rice and Bok Choy have also been added for growing on regular trays.

Development Philosophy

The main goal of the mod is to expand various aspects of the vanilla game, making the world more alive and unique. Special attention is paid to turning the Nether into territory as habitable and resource-rich as the Overworld. Future plans include adding content for all aspects of the game, including the End.

Additional Features

The mod includes a fermentation workstation, a significant amount of food items, unique agricultural concepts (trays and tree felling), over 100 different blocks and their variations, a new Wither-related mob. All content is added in accordance with Mojang's development philosophy.

Recommendations

For comfortable gameplay with this mod, it's recommended to install Polymorph and JEI.
