RLArtifacts

RLArtifacts is a fork of the Artifacts mod by ochotonida, with all credit for the original development belonging to them.

Like the base Artifacts mod, RLArtifacts adds many new accessory artifacts that can only be found as loot from Mimics or crafted from other artifacts.

This version contains numerous significant changes compared to the original:

• Removed unwanted items such as everlasting food items
• Accessories that overlap with BountifulBaubles (Obsidian Skull, Cobalt Shield, and others) are disabled by default but have a setting to re-enable them if you are not using BountifulBaubles
• Almost every artifact has been reworked to add settings such as attribute values and operations, activation chances, and other parameters that can be changed directly in the game
• Mimics have been reworked: they have become more dangerous, hide better, and can now attack entities that attack them (for example, pets)
• Additionally, the Mimic spawning system has been changed: previously, random chests would spawn underground with a chance to replace the chest with a Mimic (this option remains in the settings) as the only way for Mimics to appear. In RLArtifacts, when a chest with ungenerated loot is opened or broken by a player, it has a chance to drop the contents and be replaced by a Mimic, meaning that even loot chests in structures and dungeons are not safe from turning into Mimics
• The Antidote Vessel artifact from newer versions of Artifacts has been backported
• Several new artifacts have been added, such as the Sacrificial Amulet, which charges up from kills while being worn and, when fully charged, breaks and drops item(s) from its loot table
• The rendering system has been reworked, making all artifact models fully compatible with Mo'Bends, and the Star Cloak has been remodeled, with compatibility added for Classy Hat's Phantom Thread
• Many other bugs have been fixed and general code cleanup has been performed
• More sound effects have been added

Several new artifacts have already been added, and more are planned to be added over time.
