RLFoliage is an optimized version of BetterFoliage - a client-side decorative mod that significantly enhances the game's visual design. The mod adds realistic rendering of foliage, grass, netherrack, soul sand, and many other visual improvements.

The key difference between RLFoliage and the original is the complete removal of the "Round Logs" feature and its associated code. This feature consumed significant RAM even when disabled due to implementation specifics. Modern mods like DynamicTrees already offer more advanced alternatives to round logs.

Comparative tests between the original BetterFoliage and RLFoliage showed RAM savings in the range of 100-200 MB. When using larger chunk render distances, the savings can be even more substantial.

The mod has been thoroughly tested and works stably. If you encounter any problems, please report them to this project's issue tracker, not the original mod's tracker.
