Robot Dinos

Robot Dinos is a small modification that introduces customizable multi-part robots to the game. You assemble your mechanical companion by combining various engines, heads, legs, tails, and manipulators to give it unique traits and capabilities. The mod is in early development stage, and its future progress depends on community interest.

Features

The game gains a new mountable entity that must be assembled from individual components. The robot can move even with incomplete parts, but all its abilities become available only with full set of components!

• Engine - coal and redstone variants available, affecting fuel consumption.
• Legs - determine movement speed and step height.
• Tail - enables jumping capability.
• Head - provides attacking functions.
• Arms - allow collecting dropped items and experience orbs.

Controls

• SPACE - perform jump (requires installed tail).
• C - collect dropped items and experience orbs (requires arms).
• X - attack (requires head).
• Left CTRL - sprint.

Important Information

Functionality of dyes, armor plate variants, and some engine types is under development. These elements are present in the game but currently have no practical effect.

Development Plans

• Compatibility with popular modifications (for example, new crafting recipes when Create is installed).
• Additional body types (parasaurolophus, ankylosaurus, deinonychus, and others).
• Ability to paint in different colors.
• Material changes for improved durability.
