Rocket Redux

Ride rockets in ULTRAKILL style! This mod completely changes the approach to using fireworks in Minecraft.

Rocketry Enchantment Features

Adds a new enchantment for crossbows that is incompatible with Multishot and Piercing.

Main Effects

Firework rocket flight speed is halved and flight duration is doubled. This means rockets cover the same distance but at a slower speed.

Rockets without explosive effects automatically receive a random simple explosion. Pillagers and players in creative mode default to loading crossbows with firework rockets instead of arrows.

Rocket Riding

The most impressive feature is the ability to ride rockets! If you're falling and shoot a rocket downward (at an angle ≤45° from straight down), you automatically mount it.

The rocket will fly in the direction you're looking. Remember that the rocket explodes after the normal time or upon collision, so you need to dismount in time and avoid obstacles to avoid taking damage.

Since the rocket explodes when colliding with blocks, you need to aim upward to avoid immediately hitting the ground. Note that performing this trick may be more difficult with high ping or connection latency.

Obtaining the Enchantment

The book with Rocketry enchantment can be found in End City chests and Trial Chamber vaults. Pillagers in waves 6+ of raids have a chance to spawn with a crossbow enchanted with Rocketry.

Additional Information

The mod supports enchantment descriptions. Future plans include adding Enchancement support.
