Rotted [Forge]
The Rotted mod fundamentally transforms zombies in Minecraft by adding various types of these creatures and completely overhauling their behavior. The new zombies possess unique abilities, special artificial intelligence, and drop exclusive loot.
Mod Features
The "pure" zombies from this mod are significantly more dangerous than regular ones - they deal 80% more fire damage, but with an 80% chance they infect other creatures with the "contagion" effect. When a player or villager dies with this effect, a zombified version appears in their place, inheriting some armor, weapons, and even the name of the deceased.
If the zombies seem too powerful, you can always adjust their health and damage through the configuration file. The mod works excellently with shaders and other mods due to high compatibility, although some visual effects may be disrupted when using certain modifications.
Zombie Types

Marine Zombie
- Health: 20
- Damage: 4
- Speed: 0.25 on land, higher in water Very fast in water and smart enough to drag the player underwater!

Adventurer Zombie
- Health: 18
- Damage: 3 + main hand weapon damage
- Speed: 0.25 The most common zombie type that takes your weapons and armor when killing you. Can perform small jumps, appears with particles and sound upon your death. Spawns with various items and armor from chainmail to iron.

Doctor Zombie
- Health: 15
- Damage: 3
- Speed: 0.25 Throws potions, healing other zombies when left alone with them. Has a charismatic nature that unites zombies. Can go berserk, throwing harmful potions instead of healing ones. In melee combat, fights only hand-to-hand.

Farmer Zombie
- Health: 12
- Damage: 4
- Speed: 0.25 Usually appears with a hoe, the quality of which affects dropped materials (wooden, stone, iron, golden). Has a chance to drop "past loot" (wheat, poisonous potato, carrot). All chances are configurable.

Miner Zombie
- Health: 16
- Damage: 4 + main hand weapon damage
- Speed: 0.25 Moves quickly, usually appears with a pickaxe. Has four variants: stone, iron, gold, diamond. Tool quality affects damage and dropped loot. Also has configurable "past loot".

Flusk Zombie
- Health: 30
- Damage: 4
- Speed: 0.2 on ground, 0.4 in flight The first flying mob in the mod. Flies low and glides around the player. On ground, moves like a regular zombie. Can lift the player or other creatures high into the air and drop them. To avoid being grabbed, press left Shift at ground level.

Shielder Zombie
- Health: 28
- Damage: 2
- Speed: 0.2 (0.3 in attack mode) Rarely appears, deals little damage, but withstands enormous damage. When hit, there's a 30% chance the damage will be only 1/3 of the original. Can accelerate and dash forward, protecting zombie groups from main damage.
