Roughly Enough Items Server Component (REI-SC): Server Compatibility Module

The server component for Roughly Enough Items is a specialized mod that implements the REI networking protocol to handle functions requiring interaction between server and client on multiplayer servers.

This solution is specifically designed for game servers that want to maintain compatibility with Just Enough Items on the server side while allowing players to use REI as an alternative. This provides flexibility in choosing interface mods for different game participants.

From a technical perspective, the mod demonstrates minimal server load. Testing on Enigmatica 6 servers showed that request processing requires only about 300 milliseconds in the background, making it an optimal solution even for large projects.
