RubyMod - An open source mod
RubyMod is an open-source modification built on the Forge API. The main goal of this project is to demonstrate various aspects of Minecraft mod development, making it an excellent learning resource for beginner modders.
The mod includes a wide range of functional elements covering the main directions of mod creation:
- Tools and armor - various types of equipment with unique characteristics
- Ores and their generation - new mineral resources with automatic world spawning system
- Biomes - additional natural zones with unique landscapes
- Storage blocks - specialized containers and storage systems
- Food items - new types of food with various effects
- Mobs and spawn eggs - additional creatures and their spawning mechanisms
- Enchantments - magical improvements for items
- Basic fluids - new types of liquid substances
- Potions - alchemical mixtures with diverse properties
- Villager professions - expansion of the NPC system and their specializations
- Redstone components - additional elements for creating complex mechanisms
Fabric support is planned to be added in the near future, which will expand the mod's compatibility with different game versions.
