Creating Runes

Runes are the primary method of using magic. To create a magical rune, you need to apply a pattern to a blank rune. Blank runes are crafted from smooth stone slabs. To apply the pattern, a chisel is used, which can be created from two iron ingots placed one above the other. After using the chisel, you need to apply the pattern to the rune and add the corresponding dye.

All the different rune patterns can be found on ancient monoliths that generate throughout the world. If you forget the pattern, it can be copied from the monolith using tracing paper. Tracing paper is created from paper, ink, and feathers.

Creating Scrolls

Scrolls are an alternative method of using magical spells. These are single-use items that require half the mana to cast.

To create a magical scroll, a writing table is used. The writing table is crafted from two planks horizontally at the bottom, two logs on top, followed by a torch, ink, and a feather horizontally on top. On the table, you need to place empty scrolls, ink, and the rune from which you want to copy the scroll. To make an empty scroll, you need to craft a stick, a piece of paper underneath, and another stick under the paper.

Alternatively, you can copy the pattern from a monolith using a special tracing scroll. These scrolls are created from an empty scroll, ink, and feathers.

Restoring Mana

Currently, mana can only be restored using plants or through natural regeneration. Potions will be added in the future.

In forest-like biomes throughout the world, new "Royal lily" plants generate. After collecting them, you can gather their buds, which restore mana when consumed, and replant them using the buds.

Increasing Maximum Mana

Currently, mana cannot be increased. This feature will be available in the future.

Planned Features

  • Achievements
  • Potions
  • Configuration file
  • Spell cooldowns
  • Additional spells
