Salvage Furnace

Salvage Furnace

Mod Information

Patchouli is recommended for convenience.

Tired of excess tools and armor? Crafted a diamond pickaxe but forgot about it? Got unfortunate enchantments on a chestplate? Your mob farm produces more gear than you can use? This mod offers an efficient alternative to regular smelting in a furnace!

Salvage Furnaces

Recycling System

The mod adds several specialized furnaces for recycling different materials. Each material type has its own furnace where you can dispose of tools and armor, recovering some of the original resources.

The amount of scraps obtained depends on the item's durability - the higher the durability, the more material you'll recover. Some tools, like shovels, cannot be recycled when heavily damaged.

Recycling Animation

The obtained scraps can be smelted back into the original material.

Smelting Recipe

Enchanted Materials

When recycling enchanted items, you receive enchanted scraps that, when smelted, turn into enchanted materials. These materials can be used to create tools with higher enchantability.

Enchanted Materials Smelting Recipe

Enchanted materials can also be combined into decorative blocks to save inventory space.

Block of Enchanted Material

Due to their magical properties, these blocks can be used near an enchanting table to enhance effects or as a beacon base.

Enchanting Table Usage

Tools and Armor

Tools made from enchanted materials have the same durability, damage, attack speed, and efficiency characteristics as regular counterparts, but with higher enchantability, allowing for better enchantments.

Tools

Armor made from enchanted materials maintains standard durability, protection, toughness, and knockback resistance stats, but also features improved enchantability.

Netherite Items

Netherite Furnace

When recycling enchanted netherite items, you receive enchanted netherite scraps. These can be combined with enchanted gold to create enchanted netherite, which is used to upgrade diamond tools.

Enchanted Netherite Ingot

Add enchanted netherite to diamond tools in a smithing table to create netherite tools.

Enchanted Netherite Tools

Diamond armor can be upgraded in a similar manner.

Upgrade System

Salvage furnaces support an upgrade system. There are three types of upgrade blanks: iron, gold, and diamond. Iron ones are used for fuel efficiency upgrades, gold for speed upgrades, and diamond for storage upgrades.

Upgrade System

Fuel upgrades improve fuel efficiency. A furnace can hold up to 10 such upgrades.

Fuel Upgrade

Speed upgrades accelerate the recycling process. Maximum of 10 upgrades per furnace.

Speed Upgrade

Storage upgrade places a storage above the furnace that automatically transfers suitable items for recycling to the furnace and returns the output back.

Storage Upgrade

Sigils and Runes

When using upgrades, a reward bar appears in the furnace interface. When the bar fills, the player receives a repair sigil, which can be used to create repair runes.

Repair Sigils

Repair runes automatically restore your armor, tools, and weapons. Simply place one or more runes in your inventory, and they will start working.
