Satisforestry

The Satisforestry mod recreates the famous Pink Forest from Satisfactory (often called Red Bamboo Fields) in Minecraft. Unlike the original where the map was manually created, here it's a fully procedurally generated biome with seed-based randomization and expansion capabilities.

I made tremendous efforts to accurately reproduce all the characteristic features of this biome - from vegetation (both large and small) to terrain shaping and the creatures found here. Just like in Satisfactory, the Pink Birch Forest is divided into three subzones. The main and most common one is the standard pink forest with wide paths and diverse vegetation. Within it, you can discover more swampy areas with terraced ponds that replicate the similar zone on the eastern edge of the biome in Satisfactory. There are also dense thickets of red bamboo with few trees, reproducing the northwestern part of the original biome.

Throughout the biome, you'll find poisonous "holey" rocks and paleberries scattered around.

Additionally, the forest contains hidden treasures inspired by the long winding cave running beneath the biome in Satisfactory, with elements from other areas of the map (particularly the eastern swamp).

Among these treasures is a "resource node" that, like in Satisfactory, can produce unlimited quantities of any item you choose, but with limited throughput. What nodes can produce is fully configurable using my LuaBlock system, similar to CondensedOres and LootTweaks mods. Ore clusters are read from an "ores" file, and resource node types from a "resources" file, both located in the subfolder created in your configuration folder. Ores are optional - you can choose not to specify ore types for a particular spawn area - but there must be at least one resource type definition. Refer to "base" for default parent definitions and examples.

Future plans include adding a creature similar to the flying manta that will circle the biome, as well as implementing another primary use for paleberries. :P

Note that some biome features depend on finding a biome edge, so you won't see all of them in a single-biome world like a MystCraft age with pages only for this biome.
