Saturated Modification
New Worlds to Explore
This datapack introduces an entirely new dimension called Saturated, along with the Void dimension as bonus content. This is a comprehensive project that enriches gameplay with a completely new world featuring diverse biomes, unique structures, and an original magic system.
How to Access the New Dimensions?
To reach the Void dimension, simply get stuck in sand or gravel in the regular world. To return, pass through an ordinary oak door. From the Void, you can travel to the Saturated dimension using a warped door, and an iron door will take you back.
Unique Saturated Biomes
The world of Saturated offers 16 completely distinct ecosystems to explore:
Forests and Plains:
- The Enchanted Forest — a mystical grove featuring giant trees covered in fruit, regular trees adorned with soul lanterns, and decorative elements on the forest floor
- Stranger Flats — open lands with enormous floating "jellyfish" in the air and dense shrubs on the ground
- Boreal Valley — a thick forest of towering spruce trees of various sizes with occasional lanterns scattered across the surface
Deserts and Mountains:
- Bone Canyon — a scorching desert made of red sand and related blocks with skeletal remains protruding from the earth
- Freezer — a peak zone composed of warped growth, powdered snow, and streaks of smooth blackstone
- Crystalized Peaks — a rocky biome with crystals emerging from the ground and floating growth stones nearby
Caves and Underground:
- Bone Cavern — an underground version of Bone Canyon featuring bone trees, red blocks, numerous shroomlights, and formations hanging from the ceiling
- Glacial Carve — a subterranean glacier packed with icicles, packed and blue ice, along with small patches of vegetation
- Underground Jungle — an enhanced lush caves environment with vines dangling from ceilings, varied soil, trees of different types, and massive roots
Aquatic Zones:
- Oceanic Region — a warm ocean teeming with life, where land areas transform into dead coral, and large dead coral trees rise above the surface
- Sunken Depths — deep ocean territory with extremely tall kelp and ruins of unknown origin, sometimes containing ancient debris
- Verdant Spires — a rare oceanic world featuring tall stone spires covered in moss-related blocks
Other Interesting Areas:
- Littoral Hollow — a cave biome resembling a blend of swamp and volcanic elements, containing basalt, mud, and mysterious pillars e
- The River — a standard river biome that forms bushes when spreading onto land
The Void Dimension
The additional dimension features two special zones:
- Void — mostly empty space occasionally featuring pillars of deepslate bricks where all items disappear. This area serves as a gateway between dimensions
- Inverse — a mirrored version of the Void with inverted ground and fog colors
Unique Structures
Saturated contains eight impressive constructions:
- Cave Ruins — small structures at the world's bottom containing chests with treasure maps
- Sewer System — often found in The Enchanted Forest, an underground network populated with basic undead enemies and simple loot
- Tower of Sloni — a rare tall structure with interconnected towers via bridges, inhabited by powerful illagers and featuring a miniboss at the top
- Babel Coven Hideout — concealed underground structure in Stranger Flats resembling a massive library with trial zones and witches
- Prosperous Skeletown — a skeleton-inhabited settlement in Boreal Valley with a central fortress and fountain concealing treasures, populated by skeletons with special abilities
- Submerged City — underwater merchants' settlement offering profitable trades, maps, and protection from enchanted golems and guardians
- Underwater Drilling Site — a large subaquatic and subterranean structure featuring a central drill and branching corridors, offering unique enchantments and renewable boss battles
- Crater Ruins — the largest and rarest structure, comprising three levels: surface ruins, sunken city, and underground basements with epic boss encounters
The Void dimension contains only one structure — the Liminal Maze. This confusing maze-like construction contains no loot but provides hints about traveling between worlds.
Important Information
It's worth noting that regular roads appear in nearly every biome alongside floating objects like glass, ice, or lanterns. The modification doesn't add new block types, maintaining compatibility with the base game.
Important: Paper, Spigot, and their derivatives may experience compatibility issues with this datapack. The project also doesn't support Realm mode.
