[SBM] Grappling Hook
What is this mod?
Imagine a situation: you need to get from point A to point B, but an insurmountable obstacle appears in your path. It could be a deep chasm, a high wall, or any other structure blocking your way. Of course, you could go straight through - fill the pit or break down the wall. Or use a jetpack and simply fly over the obstacle. But where's the adventure and excitement in that? It's much more interesting to swing over the barrier like the legendary heroes of the past!
Grappling hook capabilities
This is exactly what the grappling hook was created for. With it, you can shoot a hook with an attached rope in any direction you can aim. One click - and the hook flies to the target. Another click - and you start being pulled towards the anchor point. But that's not all!
The grappling hook allows you to safely descend from high places. To do this, just hold Shift and scroll the mouse wheel. Want to hang on the rope without descending all the way? No problem! Need to gather resources from the wall or use weapons? Simply release the hook - it will automatically attach to your belt, allowing you to move freely while enjoying the views of the surrounding world.
Controls
- Left click - shoot the hook
- Hold left click - pull towards the hook
- Shift + mouse wheel - pulling and descending
- Right click - release the hook
Settings
- reach_distance - maximum distance to search for hook anchor point
- life_timer - maximum hook existence time
- speed - adjustment of pulling speed (percentage of maximum)
