Introduction to Size Modification Addon
Scopic-Addon is an expansion module for Pehkui that significantly enhances gameplay mechanics related to entity size modification. For proper functionality, it requires Pehkui version 3.6.0 and Flan version 1.7.3.
Addon Features
Gameplay Mechanic Changes
- Large characters can cause destruction through five different methods (walking, running, jumping, punching, size increase)
- Stepping on small entities inflicts damage
- Ability to pick up, carry, and throw small entities
- Advanced zoom system with extensive customization options
Large Character Features
- Immunity to cactus damage
- Enhanced footstep volume increasing proportionally with size
- Larger entities drop more loot upon death
- Item pickup restrictions
- Inability to wear armor
- Coal compression into diamonds becomes possible
- Attacking actions deal area-of-effect damage
- Sufficiently large characters can blow away both small entities and blocks
- Block mining capability without pickaxe usage
Small Character Capabilities
- Access to special leaf armor
- Gliding capability using paper
- Gaining lift while gliding near heat sources
- Block traversal using slimeballs or shovelable blocks
- Attempting to use fishing rods as grappling hooks (with limited functionality) -o Holding onto larger entities when using fishing rods
- Mounting larger players/entities using string
- Controlling bats and parrots while riding them
- Speed and haste effects from sugar consumption
- More powerful redstone mechanisms requiring stick interaction
- Rain drowning risk without lily pad protection, shelter, or coverage from larger entities
Commands and Settings
- Destruction parameter customization
- Size change upon food consumption with individual product values
- Gradual size transformation over time functions
- Block break transformation (similar to food system)
- Random size assignment through setting, addition, or multiplication operations
- Size theft from attacked and killed entities
- Parameter management for other players (administrator tools)
Additional Elements
- Size management items (half-size extraction, size injection, random size alteration, growth enhancement, size reset)
- Four status effect types (instant shrinking, instant growing, gradual shrinking, gradual growing)
- Corresponding potions and arrows for instant and gradual size modifications
Compatibility
The module maintains compatibility with other Pehkui-utilizing modifications including Immersive Portals and Origins. However, note that the latter locks player size changes, rendering some addon features inaccessible. During testing, certain features may display conflicting behavior with incompatible modifications.
This addon provides extensive configuration options for fine-tuning gameplay to individual player preferences.
