Sculk Bundle

The Sculk Bundle mod implements ideas proposed by YouTuber Blockixel Artistry related to the deep dark and sculk blocks in Minecraft. This addition brings completely new mechanics and items to the game that will make exploring ancient cities more exciting and dangerous.

Mod Features

Sculk Latch Bundle

The most important new feature of the mod is the special sculk latch bundle. This is an improved version of the regular bundle with unique properties. The main feature is that this bundle doesn't disappear when dropped and can absorb items dropped upon player death.

When you die with such a bundle in your inventory, it automatically collects up to 10 stacks of items. These items remain safely inside the bundle until another player picks it up. Your valuables are protected from fire, lava, explosions, and disappearance - making it the perfect item for the late game.

Crafting requires:

• 1 sculk latch
• 1 regular bundle

Sculk Latch

The sculk latch is a new item that can be found in ancient cities of the deep dark. It's used exclusively for crafting, including in other mods. For example, it's needed to craft the amethyst shield in the corresponding mod. Latches are quite rare and are found in special sculk chests.

Sculk Chest

Sculk chests are a new type of container that generate in ancient cities. They can also be created by placing a regular chest on a sculk catalyst. The peculiarity of these chests is that they don't open with a simple click - the sculk holds the lid shut.

To open such a chest, you need to ring an amethyst bell. After ringing, the chest will open for just a few seconds, so you need to act quickly. If the chest was named, it will only respond to a bell with the same name, allowing players to protect their items from others.

Amethyst Bell

The amethyst bell is a tool for interacting with sculk chests. When used, it opens all nearby unnamed sculk chests for a short time.

Crafting recipe:

• 4 amethyst shards
• 1 village bell

Sculk Jaw

When exploring the deep dark, you can now encounter a new type of trap - the sculk jaw. This block blends well with its environment and poses a serious danger to careless players.

If you step on a sculk jaw, it will trap the player like powdered snow and deal gradual damage. To escape, you need to hit the jaw several times, after which it will be temporarily deactivated.
