Seamless Loading Screen (Forge)

This mod is a Forge adaptation of the original Seamless Loading Screen project by Minenash!

Important note: For Minecraft versions 1.20 and above, it's recommended to use the mod from the original developer.

How the Mod Works

Seamless Loading Screen is a client-side modification that takes a screenshot of the game when you exit a world or server and displays it when you reconnect. All captured screenshots are saved in a special subfolder within your screenshots directory.

Sodium Compatibility

If you have Halogen or Magnesium (or other Sodium ports) installed, you need to add the line mixin.features.gui.fast_loading_screen=false to the sodium-mixins.properties configuration file. This is because Sodium overwrites the world loading screen that this mod uses to create a transparent background. Adding this line prevents potential Minecraft crashes during launch.
